About the Tool

Reword Image is a browser tool for changing words that are already flattened into a picture. If you only have the JPG or PNG and the original design file is gone, a normal photo editor cannot touch lettering that is part of the pixels, and retyping it means rebuilding the whole layout. Reword Image takes a different route. You upload the image, type the text exactly as it appears, and type what it should say instead. The tool repaints that lettering in place, keeping the surrounding composition, the background colour and the perspective of the shot, so the result still reads as the same photograph instead of a paste-up. It is built for the cases where the image exists but the source file does not: a shop sign with an outdated price, a poster or event banner with the wrong date, a product screenshot with placeholder copy, a menu that needs a new dish name, or a mockup that needs a different language for a local market. The workflow is deliberately three fields. There is no layer panel, no font picker and no canvas to learn, because it is not trying to replace a design suite. It does one job: keep the picture, change the words. It runs in the browser on desktop and mobile with nothing to install. You can preview the result before downloading, and the first edit is free.
